It is real close, but I would take Upton and his once in a lifetime potential over Gordon. Gordon will probably be in the bigs in a shorter time and will be an All-Star, but Justin has the chance to be something special.

you think chance he burns through the minors and gets up to the bigs in one year ala Griffey, BJ, etc??

He has the ability, but like big brother he has some fielding questions to answer as well.

Kostas... do you mean an impact player THIS year or in the future? Cuz Zimmerman is the only one who will have an impact this year... Upton has the best chance of being a 5cat slugger... and Gordon can hit, but he probably will take a year or two...

I would say impact by 2007. I am leaning towards selecting Gordon. He has an easier path to the bigs and the Royals need him badly.
