I did a brief search here and now I am here...
Yahoo offers the commish the Pre Draft Player Edit option (or something like that). It allows a commish to plop all keepers in for their managers.
QUESTION: Are the keepers automaticly (sp?) going to be a managers top picks? So if I keep 5 then they fill my #1 to 5 round slots?
Does Yahoo allow to place, say a Ricky Weeks, as a #15 pick?
Thanks

I haven't looked for any changes for this year, but last year you could only have a commish plug them in or do a live draft not any combonation of the 2.
I could be wrong, but I haven't seen anything like that.

Andy, I read that keepers can be plugged in by the commish before the draft. Then a draft can follow. I was hoping I missed something that said the keepers can be placed in any round ahead of time. I think that is not possible. I did a test and it looks like the keepers will take up the early rounds.
Keep 5 then they are all picks #1 thru 5. Keep 6 and so on...

The option for me, as a commish for a Plus league, is there under
Commisioner's Tools.
Not sure about the free version.

i'm gonna save the dough for a plus league and use it all toward league prize money and just get every owner to draft their keepers in the first few rounds, i just hope noone screws it up.

I dont think this works for keepers:
Submit Draft Results
Starting Thursday, February 16, you'll be able to submit offline draft results for each manager in your league. Offline
I dont think the option to combine offline and online drafts is there. Its a shame since it should be easy to do.

you can use the 'pre-draft selections' in conjunction with the live draft. they aren't considered an 'offline draft'

We've done it that way for the last few years, with only minor screw-ups. You should also ask managers to put all the other team's keepers on their exclude list, and to make sure their keepers are listed as their first picks, so that if they are late, have computer problems or whatever, the keepers are selected by autodraft.
