Lackey- high K rate and a very good offense behind him. 27
Doug Davis- another high K guy on an improving team with a good bullpen. Good health history too. 30
Bedard- Mazzone effect could be huge here. Some health issues though. 27
Webb- extreme groundball pitcher with good K rate. 27
These are 4 guys I'll be looking to snag. Davis is the old man and he's just 30. The other three could be on the verge of putting it all together. Davis will be the true steal of the group though. He is constantly overlooked.
cain isnt a sleeper in my book...and neither are any of these pitchers listed...all are established pitchers...
why so down on Oliver GTW? Penny could be interesting, some serious health issues the past couple of years. Marquis essentially imploded after the break last year.

I guess that's where the first line of the post comes in, isn't it?

Now going into his 3 season and after an amazing 2nd half (check his splits) I think you can get him relatively cheap....hence sleeper.
Absolutely. Lowry will be on a couple of my teams this year.
I also like:
Oliver Perez
Brett Myers (if he is a sleeper) Casey Fossum

I was actually looking at Myers last night. He still has a lot of room to improve and given his current trend, I think he will take another step forward.
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that." ~George Carlin
I like Chris Young at Petco. Don't expect a 20 game winner but he can flirt with the 15 win mark. His numbers were fairly consistent between road and home but figure the move from arlington to petco can lower anyones era by at least half a point. Try him somewhere in the middle teens
Only 2 things are certain in life...... death and Albert Pujols
Aaron Harang has shown improvement each year and has developed into a high strikeout pitcher. Not sure if you can consider a team's No.1 starter a sleeper, but on a terrible staff like Cincinnati he gets overlooked.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Absolutely. K/9 increasing, BB/9 decreasing. I expect him to be alot better than most people are giving him credit for.
