This is getting tiring, now the deal is something along the lines of.....
Manny to the Angels of Los Angeles California, which is part of the OC, which near the ocean (yup thats the team name)
for
Santana, Figgins and 2 prospects (Wood and someone else)
Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Angels for some reason shot this down (damn) But anything that would bring Wood and Santana to Boston would be GREAT!
It seems more likely that the LA times got the rumor from the local team, not the team on the other side of the country.
i was being sarcastic. This trade seems heavily in favor of the sox, and trades like this tend to pop up over on that message board. Like i said, no way this is legit. the angels arent that dumb
The Angels are not trading their prospects. The Times isn't the most reliable source either. The OC Register does a better job reporting the team.
The times is known for creating a lot of hypothetical situations.
Stoneman refuses to trade Santana and Wood. I also don't see the Angels trading Figgins. He is the catalyst of that team. I wouldn't call him untouchable, but the Angel consider him to be the MVP (he and Vladdy tied for team MVP).
If they do decide to trade one of their prospects or Figgins, they will most likely be alone or with some throw-ins. No way in hell do the Angels trade Wood AND Santana.

I don't think the Sox really want to trade Manny, they just want to pretend they are trying.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.
