Setting up a 12 team h2h league

Here r my settings. Any suggestions to improve them?

Min Innings Pitched: 30

Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, LF, CF, RF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL

Stat Categories: R, H, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, E, AVG, IP, W, CG, SHO, SV, H, ER, HR, BB, HBP, K, WP, GIDP, ERA

Couple of things that come to mind - r should i have less cats? IE Do I need both ER & ERA? What about WHIP do u like it?

Is a 25 man roster to big for a 12 teamer? Should i make it OF X3 or 4 or leave it the way it is?

What have u found to be good? Ive run several leagues over the years but i want to look at a fresh approach this year.

All suggestions appreciated.

Yeah, you have WAY too many cats there. I like to stick the the basic 5x5 cats but doing 6x6 or 7x7 is alright. Beyond that it just gets too confusing.

I know 5X5 is as follows:
R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

Ive used this many times

but please Explain 6X6 & 7X7

Also what about my roster pos's & min innings per wk?

Stats: you have 14 pitching and 9 hitting. way to many catagories and I think most will say have them equal. I would not go past 7x7. I think the common ones to add to a 5x5 are k's and OPS for hitting and IP and holds for pitching.

Your lineup: I think you will appeal to a smaller group by having MI, CI, LF,CF and RF. Not saying anything one way or the other it is just once you move away from the basic catagories you appeal to a smaller group.

With having 6 pitchers on any one day your 30 innnings pitched might be a tad high.
