I can add 2 FA's this week in my keeper league. I'm basically trying to build a team for the future. What 2 are the best from this bunch and how would u rank them...thanks

Zumaya-is he going to be a closer?
Lester -good track record in minors
P Hughes - Mark prior Light?
Salty - better than McCann?

I would take Lester (homer pick) and Zumaya. Hughes and Salty aren't half bad themselves though.

Lester and Salty. Lester is Lefty power pitcher. Salty-IS a catcher who can rake.

Hughes is kinda overated.

Zumaya if he stays out of the pen. Closers are nice but you can find them on the scrap heap every year.

Lester will probably be a solid #2 pitcher for many years on a good/great team. Best of the bunch if Zumaya closes.

Saltalmacchia is probably going to be better than McCann and I think he'll remain at C if he progresses. At C he has the offensive skill to be a I Rod type hitter in his prime (excluding the roid enhanced MVP year). If he ends up at 1B, it's not quite as exciting.

If Hughes can make it through one healthy season and show he can add a couple of MPH to his fastball while refining his third and fourth pitches, he will be the best of these four (if healthy, he will do these things). But he hasn't shown that yet. Wait and see.
