Auction Draft Strategy???

So I should set values for every player and have those values add up to $333? On draft day I should only spend 78% of what I project their value to be? For example if i project a player at $20, I should only spend roughly 15 or 16 on him?

Your overall goal is to spend 333 dollars of value. You don't spend exactly 78% of every players value. On some players you might pay sixty. Then you can afford to pay more on another player.

It is a general rule to "try" and live by. You will spend more on some players, but make sure it is on players who have a long history of producing. Overall, a 78 number is what you are looking for. You'll be at 60 on some and 85 on others, so while it is a general rule, you need to be able to adjust on the go, and know when to spend more than your 78.

Yup...go look in the NL or AL auction forum. That will at least give you an idea of values.
