think by the time some of your unproven rookies establish themselves or are on the verge of establishing themselves, your veterans will be out their prime.
outside of hermidia, i'm not sure any of your batters have all-star ability in in their prime.
you've got some big name minor league pitchers, but nonetheless, young pitchers are a crapshoot in whether they'll be healthy or not, or whether or not they have a major league mental makeup. In a 16 team league, i think your team is middle of the road this season as long as miggie and delgado produce.
long term prospects aren't as promising despite the fact you have a boatload of rookies. i'd look to deal some of those rookies for 25 and 26 year olds who will be peaking now and in the near future.
I think you're in trouble. I think it's time to build for the real future. See what you can get for Delgado, Tejada, Matsui, and Buehrle. See if anyone will give you real value for your minor leagures, though I'd be loathe to give up Hermida or Barton. I think both will be great keepers for years, especially in a league like yours.
But it's time to rebuild. Think of the Indians in 01 (or whenever they gave up Thome, Alomar, etc). Follow that model.
Piazza, Zimmerman, Belliard, maybe McCann and Barton aren't worthy of being kept. If these are your keepers, I would definitely trade your top stars for potential breakout sleepers and cross your fingers for the best.

You're not in too bad of shape. McCann, Zimmerman, Hermida, Quentin, Reyes, and Cain should all start this year, and Ramirez has an outside chance. Billingsley will probably be up sometime this year. Barton's got a year or two. That's just a lot of stud rookies, maybe try to trade an older guy or two to try to get a little younger.
