Agreed, big improvement over your first attempt Nice job on the cutout - looks like you practiced a bit I would switch the player and the text, but otherwise looks nice
Thanks! The fire background is what I like the most. I had seperated the canvas into 3 sections horizontally with black at the top, then red, and yellow at the bottom. Then I used the smudge tool to blend it all together. It actually looks like a real fire. I was impressed. As for the cutout, I did as I was told and zoomed in at about 400% and it was ALOT easier to trace. The text I had a problem with, I couldn't get the font I downloaded to show up on the program. I sent my finished product to Microsoft Paint and applied the text there. Took a little longer, but it worked. I'd like to find out how to blend colors in text, but that'll come later.
Thanks for all your help, guys. I've already starting on my next creation ...I'll be a "certified cafe sigmaker" in no time.
I like how you made the bg yourself But usually if you want the fonts to work in a program, you have to drop the font files into the font folder in that program. I haven't used a PC in a long time so I couldn't explain it exactly cause I have horrible memories from using those :-p
I would only change two things. Like Money said, move the player to the other side of the sig. It's called "look-room" in television. Give him more room to look. I would also double the "Are you ready?" text layer, and make the new one white. I'd then place the white one in front of the red one, so less of the red one shows. It would make the words stand out more.
Funny you should mention "look-room". I originally intended to place him on the right, but the pic I cut out didn't have his whole glove, it was half cut out of the original photo. Naturally I sent him to the other side for "photogenic" purposes... I am gonna try the white font, though...seems interesting.

Thanks again fellas.
Right on, I look forward to seeing it.
What font did you use for the flames? I don't have it and I'd like to get it.
