I'm not sure if you guys know about this yet but...

ESPN's new rule on eligibility is now 20 games played, this season or last.

So no more starting Hafner at 1b until he atains the set number of games played.

I thought I was the only one at the Cafe that played on ESPN, although I'm looking to try an additional site this season. :-°

ESPN sucks. I'm in one of their keeper leagues and you're allowed to trade through the offseason, but it appears that if anyone protests a trade during the offseason it automatically gets upheld. I've had three trades vetoed by the league this offseason. Their rules say they will only be vetoed if collusion is obvious. That there is no way one team can benefit. My last trade got protested by a team because he says it made me too good. I offerred Sheffield, Dontrelle and Bonds for Vlad. It got accepted and vetoed. We only get 5 keepers and Sheffield was going to be the only one I kept. The team I traded them to will keep all three. Tell me how that can't possibly benefit both of us.

thanks for that... that'll make it a little tougher to sneak guys buy. ESPN has always been the most easy league for position eligbity.

You mentioned Hafner. I'm pretty sure in most standard leagues, they GIVE a pure DH 1b status for free. Ortiz, Hafner, Big Hurt all seem like they get 1b, since they don't have a DH position, at least in the leagues I play in.

Can't check from work, but just thought so.
