Today's Mock Keeper Draft article

Tood Helton before David Wright? I wouldn't do that in a one-year draft, let along a keeper.

I guess there are a few guys like this that strike me as drafted too soon -- Sheffield over Utley is another one that strikes me. Just my thoughts.

Also, it would be nice if there was a page that had the teams shown after the draft, so we could see where everyone turned up. My two cents.

Once I found that Grady Sizemore and Felix Hernandez went in the fifth round of a mock KEEPER draft, I stopped reading. This piece wasn't worth a post.

Tough crowd. ;-)

In any case, it's a mock, not a set of rankings. I think it's helpful to see what can happen in actual draft conditions, and mocks like this are a great tool to prepare.

As to the keeper aspect ... I tend to subscribe to the win-now school of drafting myself. Interesting to see what happens when most of the owners in a draft lean that way...

More than a day into the draft...

...and you still think these results are remotely valuable?

Considering that this only affected the first six picks (which presumably wouldn't have changed anyway), yes. :-)
