With more movement last week, can someone clarify expected roles in terms of closer, lead set-up guy and likely back-up closer in case someone gets hurt/performs poorly?

Closer- Foulke
Set-up- Timlin
Relief- Tavarez, Riske, Seanez, Hansen
Long Relief- Arroyo? Clement? Papelbon?
Back-up closer- Hansen
Sleeper- Delcarmen
I don't think I forgot anybody...

I think that if Foulke goes down Timlin will most likely become the closer becuase Tito Francona has tons of confidence in Timlin, and he would not give the closer role outright to Hansen.
And once again the great Bellhorn has landed on his feet, $800,000 from the Padres in 2006!

Agree. I see Timlin as 1st in line (after Foulke) followed by Tavarez. Just don't see Hansen this year unless the Sox are out of it come September and he's had a good year at AAA.
