He may not hit his 400th for the Pads. He could be out for the season within a week.

And I think that about eliminates Ross for 2006. :-)

:-/ :-/ San Diego is definitely not where I was hoping when I drafted him in 24th round in my 15 teamer. Oh well, maybe he can play 50 games or so.

RU, I don't think you got ripped off. Gettin him that late in a 15 team league is not bad, IMO. He still has "some" upside and you taking him that late doesn't make him any more orless of a risk.

there is still 20 HR's in that bat ..

I like it ..
I like it much better than a full time Mirabelli, even though we just got older .. and I didn't think that was possible .. i like it ..

20 homers .. any takers? ;-D

Good luck to him with the Pads. I hope he has a productive season or two before he retires.

Well he can always join up with Bonds now that he is in the NL West and see if he can pick up on some of his "special" vitamins.

Fantasy-wise, this is not what anybody was looking for, but it should be an OK signing for the Pads. He can split time with Mirabelli and provide a little pop.

Anyone who has watched the Mets the past two years has seen Piazza's bat speed slow down. With his injury bug and old age, he would be hard pressed to hit 20 HR's this season.
I could be wrong in what I'm saying but I'll be dead before I realize it.
