That would just about finish off any value fantasy-wise Piazza has left in non-2C leagues.

The Padres are trying to entice Mike Piazza with the promise of putting him in the cleanup spot when he's in the lineup.
"Mike still thinks he can catch 70 to 80 games," GM Kevin Towers said. "We'll also use him as our designated hitter against American League teams on the road. And he could play first base against some left-handed pitchers." Philadelphia appears to be the primary competition for San Diego right now, though the Phillies probably wouldn't have as substantial of a role for him.
