He was a Phils top prosepct a year ago. What happened to him? Is he still a stud in the making? I just haven't heard very much about him lately.

IIRC he and one or two decent outings but got ruffed up a few times and was sent back to AAA. I don't think there were any injuries. He still projects to be a good pitcher.. Maybe a 1a or 2

I wouldn't say he is a stud in the making, but he still could be a good 3 or 2 if things break right for him. His problem last year was he didn't have control over his huge breaking ball and that he simply didn't trust his fastball. I've heard he got things better by the end of the year, but by how much I'm not sure. Add in he will be throwing in a hitters park and I'm not sure personally if he has the make up to with stand it and turn into a top of the rotation pitcher.

Rumor has it, he will be shipped to the whitesox with bobby abreu for jose contreras and jermaine dye....that will not be good if he goes there, I see him in the pen or AAA
