I have heard before that Dunn is a jerk. Would not surprise me in the least but I do not follow the Cincy situation close enough to have formed an opinion on him wrt that.
My only real opinion on him is that knack for the 1 run homer or a K is really annoying. And I have still never really forgiven the guy for that horrid year he had. To this day, he is likely to get drafted by someone else because if there is anyone close in value on the board, I will bypass him and his crummy avg.

Adam Dunn 2005
runs scored-107
HR's-40
RBI-101
OPS-.927
Yeah, his average sucks in a roto league but if he's a jerk and produces like this, I'm ok with it. The Boone comments surprise me as I follow the Reds pretty close and hadn't heard about that. He jokes around a lot but I've never heard about him saying negative things about somebody on a personal level to the media.

I would only take him if he fell into the 7th/8th round. But I know that will never happen.
I bump Dunn down a lot because of his AVG.

Who hasn't made fun of Aaron Boone?

My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

"Making fun" is not the term some Yankee fans would use. Despite that one HR he hit, he basically blew in NY and cost us the 2003 WS along with Jeffy Boy Weaver.

In a roto league his avg sucks but he's still worth a ton.
That's what makes an OBP league so good.

Dunn League leader
.387 OBP Giambi .440
40 HR Arod 48
101 RBI Ortiz 148
107 R Arod 124
4 SB Figgins 62
Does well enough if AVG and K aren't included.
Perfectly acceptable to me.
