Kelly Shoppach

can someone tell me about Kelly Shoppach? What kind of stats can we expect from him and how soon will he play if/when he's delt to Celveland? I assume he won't be at Catcher.

Think Jason Varitek without the bat. I've seen him play a few times and wasn't very impressed. He catches a pretty decent game but but doesn't do much with the bat. If he goes to Cleveland, he'll be there to give Victor an occasional rest.

good power. could hit 20 home runs if given the at bats, but his Batting average will hover around (or possibly below) 250. Good with the glove. Will be a backup in cleveland.
