Reistma is not a closer by any means, so I think Devine gets the call with a good ST or they make a signing or trade (Crain? Rodney? Urbina?)

David Weathers is recovering from a torn extensor tendon in his right index finger he suffered while playing catch two weeks ago. Reds trainer Mark Mann told the Cincinnati Post that Weathers is still in a splint and will be evaluated next Tuesday. That visit will determine if Weathers can resume throwing or if he must wear the splint another week.

Entering his 16th major league season, Weathers will be used in middle relief and setup situations this season as long as he remains healthy. Weathers appeared in 73 games last year, going 7-4 with a 3.94 ERA. He also saved 15 games in 19 chances for the Reds.
