There's an old name that brings back memories (mostly bad ones). Does Anderson still throw anywhere near 100 mph and can he actually throw a strike yet?
Possibly and no, what a waste of an arm.

Nope, never has never will, he is a headcase. Just stick with Orvella.
Miguel Batista (though I think Valverde has it pretty locked up)
Shinji Mori (TB, first alternate after Orvella)
Hermanson (hey, you never know, he came out of nowhere last year, and Jenks could struggle)
This list has Devine as Atl closer. Also, anybody have the list that includes future team closers?
I know I am stupid lol but what does the Ihp mean after some of the players names??
It's LHP (Left-handed pitcher).
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Joey Devine
Macay McBride
Blaine Boyer
Chris Reitsma
All have the potential to close for Atlanta next year, although McBride is a Lefty, so he's probably the least likely of the group. Heck, I might even throw in Villareal, too, although he'd be more the "sleeper" of the bunch.
Stay tuned for spring training, and if no one is clear-cut, you may see something similar to last year where it's just a process for a few months.
