B-Rob was pretty sweet last year, that much I remember. I was able to trade him after he got INJURED and got someone real good....forget who, I'm not quite in baseball mode yet.
Best work ethic in the majors (jeter and gammons quotes) 3rd year in the bigs, age 27 i think, amazing workout regime in the offseason and of course THOSE AMAZING/CHEATING FUTURISTIC NIKE CONTACT LENS.
Only a few players used them, Big Bad B-Rob, griffey and the whitesox catcher off the top of my head.
I'd pay attention to whos using them this year.....seems like a form of cheating that mlb isn't picking up on.

I wouldn't sleep on B-Rob this year.
Amazing workout regimen...isn't that one of the many cliches, cover stories you hear about Bonds?
All I know is that a guy that goes from 4 Hrs a year in 2004 (never hit more than 5 in a season) to almost Manny-like in the first half of 2005 raises red flags all over the place. It is not natural for that type of power to just "appear". Where it came from is anyone's guess but between his injury and the hype, I would be real careful picking this guy...you may be disappointed.
I outlined numerous reasons that could account for B-Robs breakout year. I think your mostly underestimating those contact lens which let him see the ball better.
You saying he chose to do roids the year mlb actually implements a policy?
