Juan Pierre for David Justice?

Postby leftfield8 » Wed Apr 17, 2002 8:24 am

If Juan Pierre was on the waiver wire and you had no other options, would you waive David Justice? With Dye coming back and Justice not really doing anything at the plate the past week or so, To me, Juan Pierre would be an upgrade. He has not hit well, but seems to be getting in the groove now that he is back in Coors

Definitely try to grab Pierre. His speed and high average makes him very valuable indeed. You'll probably need a good waiver position to get him, though - I'm sure you're not the only one interested in him. Good luck!

believe it or not, he got through waivers!! He was just out there to claim. I dumped Justice for him. People will probably grab Justice, but I think Pierre is a better way to go.

Wow - nice going! :-D Getting a top player is often that little boost a team needs to compete for the title. Great pickup!

LOL

I didn't look at the date when I read this and was like... Is this David Justice guy a prospect of some sort? Cuz I know a David Justice that retired a few years ago.

Fun read.
