Motley Crue Get Hollywood Star

I've actually seen Motley Crue twice. :-o

I used to have this girlfriend that was really into hair metal. I remember when we visited Los Angeles on vacation, she saw the Tropicana strip club, one of the strip clubs mentioned in the song "Girls Girls Girls". Of course she wanted to go in and check it out. So the morale of the story is- Motley Crue is pretty cool. :-b

You're kidding, right? Don't get me wrong, I love GNR, but being a good band for four years shouldn't get you a star on the Walk of Fame.

So why is motley crue getting one? It is because Vince Neil is an alcoholic? Because Nikkie Sixx shoudl have been dead 10 OD's ago? Or it is because Tommy Lee has proof that he boned Pam Anderson?

Or is it because they came out with a horrible comeback album last year?

Yeah, if the Crue gets it, so should GNR...

Maybe the only way to bring GNR back together is to have Scott Weiland and Axl Rose in a "shoot-up off" where they each keep shooting themselves up with heroin; first on to die loses. If Axl wins, give them the star... if Scott wins, he gets to go back to jail.

It's all hair-metal politics, Cu. Don't try to understand it. ;-D

You just reminded me of another funny story though. I heard an interview with Tommy Lee where he was talking about his Motley Crue days. He says something to the effect of-

"We finally ran out of coke and we wanted to come down. So we started shooting up Jack Daniels. And I was like- What are we doing? We could just drink it."

Now that's rock and roll. :-D

If it were a competition of who had the best VH1: Behind the Music, Motley Crue dominates, second only to the face Blue Oyster Cult BTM featuring Christopher Walken.

As for worst behind the music, i nominate Creed. When that douchebag stapp is like "Oh man, things got really bad for us on the road that one year... one time, before one of our shows, we all had a shot of jager. Yeah, that was rough. I prayed though. Then I got drunk a year later and crashed my car into a tree."

Give me a break!!!

Aww come on, the Crue wasn't that bad. I also liked GNR and Def Leppard. ;-D

The one "hair band" that I couldn't stand was Poison. :-o :-o :-o
