Easily the worst live show I've ever seen, nonetheless, one of my favorite rock bands to come out of the 80's. Nice to see them get some well deserved recognition.

I missed them in the 80's but I'm going to see them in Hamilton on March 9. I've heard that they're not the greatest live band but at the very least I plan to get very very drunk.

Getting a Hollywood star isn't really a prestigious honor (I mean, Ryan Seacrest has one ), so no beef with the Crue getting a star. It's not like they were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame or anything...
Of comparable 80s bands, I prefer Def Leppard and certainly Guns 'n Roses over Crue (though GnR came along a little later than Crue and Def Lep).
