Wouldn't online Poker tech= online rotisserie tech?

I've been trying to find a site that would potentially conduct an online auction-style draft. There doesn't seem to be a site capable of this. However, this certainly begs the question that if people can be seated in cyber-space at a poker table and wager on Texas Hold-em, why can't the same style software be used to conduct a rotisserie-style bidding draft?

Seems like an almost identical concept to me but I haven't yet found a site doing this. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.
