As we've found out in the NL only mock, C in the NL is absurdly weak. I think it's pretty much a consensus that Barrett is the only NL guy in the all-MLB top ten. Other half decent options could be McCann, Willingham or Estrada.

I have Willingham #2 on my list. Doumit would be up there as well, however he is projected to bat 8th. Hard to believe that there is probably a 50/50 shot that Willingham doesn't even make the team and he is the #2 catcher.

Willingham makes the team, though probably not as a Catcher. They need his bat somewhere in the lineup.

sometimes you'll read a thread that states "i'm punting on saves or SB's
i never punt any catagories, but for the last 5 years or so i have been punting catchers. I think it's the lesser of the evils. Sometimes i have reserve players at most positions before i even adress the catcher slot.
And yes it is a struggle on my roster to get production from that position but IMO it's better to have brad ausmus than to only have 50 sb per year or 25 saves per year
Javier Valentin - i like his stats from last season. Could provide some pop.
I think LoDuca is going to fit nicely in NY.
I also think Olivo in SD will be better then he was last year. So he will be easy to grab really late.
Wow, it's a pretty bad state of affairs when Ryan Doumit is the 2nd best fantasy option for NL catchers! He has the potential to hit for some power, but the plate discipline isn't there yet. I don't think he'd bat 8th...at least not all the time. I think 7th is a better spot, but it's still down pretty far.
