I've been around long enough to know that a few of you just giggled thinking you finally had #3 for this year. Sorry for your dissappointment. My thought is that for those of us who spend our time staring at a screen with a second by second countdown to pitchers and catchers, or doing a mock draft, or passing the time by posting responses on the "would you rather" thread, why not a thread for Yahoo predictions? A little contest if you will. When do you think the first legitimate post will appear here at the cafe announcing that Yahoo is up? I'll start us off with:

I thought MLBAM brought us National Fantasy Baseball day, and all leagues "opened" on that day. At least thats how it was last year ..

Yeah I'm pretty sure Yahoo has already posted Feb. 1 as their opening date.

Anyone remember the thread from last year? They had originally stated that signups would start on Feb. 1, 2005. It didn't happen, so a bunch of us Cafe ers sent emails, and kept getting responses from Lloyd. :-D

It had been a couple of weeks since #2, kind of the reason I threw this out there. Having said that, at the current rate, I don't think there's any way we hit 20 this year. Of course if Yahoo doesn't open up on Feb 1, the odds of hitting 20 are better.
