I don't think Hanley Ramirez is ready to become one of the top 250 players in 5x5 roto baseball. Unless you are really in need at SS and it's tough to get them in your league, it's not time to make Ramirez a keeper yet.

Are we in agreement that he will have a full time role this year at short? If so, that gives him some value.....just depends on how many players on each of the 16 teams, hence how thin the pool of players becomes.

He's too young to go jumping on his bandwagon just yet; we'll have to see how he does this year on the dismantled Marlins, but I do have him ranked about 275-280 overall.

i would keep him over piazza but that is just my opinion.

I think the answer to whether to keep him would be a lto easier if we knew who the '5 other scrubs' he was competing wiht were... I think he will be ok, .275 maybe 10 HR 15SB, and the rest depends on where he hits in the lineup, so if that seems a ton better than maybe you should keep him... I would think you could do a bit better for your MI slot though...
