The only worthwhile new show on either network is Everybody Hates Chris, which is absolutely hilarious.
Gilmore Girls just isn't realistic enough. Nobody talks that fast that wittily. Family Guy once did a parody of Gilmore Girls that essentially explains everything I don't like about it.

Fair enough. The fast, smart talking thing is the reason I liked Sports Night and West Wing, though, too. To each his own.
I don't care if it isn't realistic. I wish it were realistic and that's enough.

First of all, I only once watched Gilmore Girls for about 5 minutes and had to turn it off because my penis was turning inside out.... but from what I watched, I can see where you think it's witty and I've heard the same from other people, but I really don't think it stands up to most of the great shows on TV; network, cable or otherwise.
As I said, Everybody Hates Chris is ingenious. For comedy, I've still got Earl, The Office and reruns of Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO, not to mention that fact that I watch at least an hour of Seinfeld reruns a night... a show which I've seen every episode at least 3-30 times.
I'm obsessed with Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and SVU is fun to watch too, if not to just stare at Mariska Hargitay's boobs. I guess that's kind of ironic given the subject matter of the show, but hey, at least Ice-T is kickin' it.
Then of course you've got House, The Shield, 24, Lost, and Without A Trace.

I'd say they all beat Gilmore Girls.
Finally! Someone else who watches The Shield. That show rocks big time!

WWE is happy now. They just signed a new 2 year deal with UPN, so they will continue to be shown on Friday nights.
Good news for us wrestling fans.

Madison how much stock do you hold in bowling and wwe?
Stock? I don't own any shares of WWE. As to bowling stock, let's just say that I've currently got something in the works.
