WB, UPN joining forces

I seriously thought they were some kind of affiliates already...

The WWE doesn't like this at all. When the change happens in September, that's the same time WWE's contract with UPN for Friday Night Smackdown ends. Talk was that if there was a problem renewing with UPN, that they would wind up possibly moving it to the WB. Talk right now is that CW still wants Smackdown, but since UPN and WB will be merged, WWE will have to take whatever they offer. Should be an interesting situation to watch unfold.

Maybe they can talk USA into giving them another slot on either Thursday or Friday since Raw is doing fairly well in the ratings.

I'm wondering what UPN brings to the table? The WB actually has some solid shows; 7th Heaven, Smallville, etc.

Seems they bring America's Top Next Model, Everybody Hates Chris, and Veronica Mars. Possibly Smackdown if the renew the contract.

The WB still has a few shows. Very few.

Name one........ i dare ya.

OK, so let's see... we're combining the teeny bopper network with amazing hit shows like One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls and the unbelievably nauseating Smallville and combining it with the absurdly un-popular and un-funny "ethnic" network which features great shows like Girlfriends, Eve and Love, Inc.

The only show worth watching on either network is Everybody Hates Chris, which I must say is hilarious, clever and doesn't have a laugh track. How can UPN have such a great and innovative comedy show like Chris and have the rest of what's on be garbage?

In any case, that will be the only watchable half hour on this new network. Unless you think Veronica Mars is hot..... sicko.

Veronica Mars scares me. I feel like I used to see commercials for that show and it was like "Next on Veronica Mars; Veronica really likes Timmy the class clown but doesn't know how to ask him out."


Now they are like.

"Veroncia battles nazi's who ganged her sister forcing her to have an abortion which caused he to go into a coma."
