The albums I'm anticipating most this year are:

Brother Ali - The Undisputed Truth
Gnarls Barkley - Untitled
Outkast - Idlewind
Soul Position - Untitled
The Cunninlynguists - A Piece of Strange

And I'm sure there are a slew of others that I'm forgetting at the moment.

I can't wait for The Middle Passage (Immortal Technique) to come out, whenever that hits the market. I've heard two of the tracks that have been released as singles after Vol. II and they're both sick.

When is The Undisputed Truth coming out? I have Shadows of the Sun but other than that haven't heard from Brother Ali in a while.

they are kinda hard to categorizeas they have quite a few different sounds. they are rock but not death metal but not pop rock. i like most of their albmums but not all of them. operation:mindcrime is by far their best work to me in both sound and concept. if you want to check out some of their stuff you can go to their site and listen to tracks from different albums. here is the site link and the link to mindcrime.

'Shadows on the Sun' is definitely one of my top ten albums of the last 10 years. He put out an EP--'The Champion EP' in '04, but other than that this will be his first official release since 'Shadows.' I've heard anywhere from February to April for the release date...probably more likely later than sooner.

I can't wait for Technique's new album. I've heard the singles as well, and his stuff is just incredible, he continues to blow me away Brother Ali is awesome as well. I'm pretty sure you can buy The Champion off iTunes as well (I know, I know, you're paying, but I usually try to buy when I get more underground stuff, just if anything to support the artists who don't get the recognition they should )
