Players you're targeting??

Postby silverZ » Tue Jan 24, 2006 3:03 pm

Who are some players you guys are targeting? They don't have to be sleepers or value picks or anything. Just want to get an idea on who some other people are targeting. And i've got nothing better to do at the office right now X-I

some of mine:

Utley - hoping he falls to me in the late 2nd/early 3rd..dont think any 2b will come close to his stats
Holliday - i'm a sucker for coors
Halladay - can you say cy young
Wright - delgado+beltran bounce back+one more year to mature= ;-D
Matsuiiiiiiiiiiiiiii - i love heckling him everytime he comes to toronto and i love that .300 average with power in the middle of the yanks lineup
Wells - is this the year he goes andrew jones on us?not likely but he's got a better lineup around him and admitily a homer pick
Byrd - a finese pitcher who should put up a decent era and get 15+ wins with that indians lineup

That's all for now. NEXT!
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Sizemore - building upon last year's breakout, the next Jason Bay
Howard - 40+ dingdongs possible (little homer-ish here :-b )
Halladay - isn't an unjury risk, last year was a freak accident
Hafner - great lineup there, only problem is position eligibility
Hermida - this many people talking about him has GOT to be good

Seems as though i'm mostly targeting guys with "H" last names. :-?

I'll provide more later, as i'm not on my own computer right now.

Don't just take people's word for it. His numbers speak for themselves.

Brian Giles - maybe it's just my leagues, but it seems people avoid him like the plague and can grab him later than he should go
Chase Utley - top 2B IMO

I put him on my 2006 watch list at the end of last year but this many people talking about him usually means I won't get him where I want.
