Anyone listen to XM Fantasy Fodder?

Postby crapshooter » Mon Jan 23, 2006 10:47 pm

I love getting a chance to hear this, just can't be around my radio much when it's on...it comes on channel 175 on XM at 11:00 CST.

Anyone else ever listen to this show?

I do on occasion when possible. Its not too bad. I like the ideas and topics but i get sick of all the complete idiots calling constantly. I mean sometimes they waste good time by asking things like:

In my X team keeper league I have David Ortiz and C.Carpenter. I have been offered Felipe Lopez, CC Sabathia, and Todd Walker for the two...should I take this offer...

Overall, the show is good and worth the listen but sometimes I just shake my head.

the few times I've got to listen they were going over a teams prospects the first part of the show giving some really good insights. After that you do get a few of those calls.

I just picked up an XM Radio and recorded the show to listen to on the way home from work. Outstanding...some decent callers and more importantly the guy answering the questions is HIGHLY competent. I think he mentioned he's affiliated in some way with Rotowire which definitely bumps him up a few pegs in my estimation of him as well.

Its Jeff Erickson, and he is the senior editor at Rotowire.

It is a pretty good show. John sickles now hosts it on fridays and talks prospects.
