I said this last year except it was "As a Red Sox fan and Nice job Theo"

I said last year that signing Miller was a waste of time and money. And I will say so again for this year.

Well, I'd say the Cubs have definitely cornered the market on perennially-injured starters now.

That was my first thought as well. They are a Kevin Brown short from a full DL staff.

I too said great signing a year ago when the Sox made a similar move....so surely it is a worthy flier.

Expect a few games of 6IP 4 hits 1 run

A few trips to the DL

And a few 2.1 IP 8 run performances

BUT, if he can get healthy, its a steal
D-Mat, Schilling, Beckett, and Papelbon - Wow!

I'd much rather have Wade Miller for a $1 than Ponson. If he can bounce back, Miller will be a great signing, and even if he can't stay healthy for long, the Cub's will probably get their money's worth out of him anyways.

This is what everyone said last year too...

True...but he's had a year to get healthy now

It pains me to say this, but great signing by the Cubs. ;-D

I've always been a Wade Miller fan. The man has some serious talent. :-°

I'd say putting a lead-off man in front of Derrick Lee was slightly a better move... :-°

lately hendry has had a penchant for not doing the not-obvious, so I give him credit for putting a little thought into this one ;-D
