Anybody know the deal about this guy? I was liking him a lot last offseason until he got that ACL tear or whatever early in the offseason. Anyways does anybody know if he'll be starting, I would say he will be since the Twins lost Jacque Jones. I'm liking him as a deep last rounds sleeper.

He' supposed to battle with Cuddyar and Lew Ford for the right field spot. They're not sure if his knee can take playing in the outfield. They said that they would also get him some ab's at DH. I can't remember where I read this and don't have a link.
I'm afraid not much more will be known until spring training.

The signing of Rondell White to play DH means that Kubel will either have to play the field or not play at all (probably) this makes me think he will need more time for his knee to rehab... I don't ever remember him being thought of as a great fielder...

I'd bet ford cuddyer and white have the open outfield and DH spot closed down an kubel continues to develop at AAA
