Rototimes has Detroit persuing the possibility of using Troy as a starter to give him more rest between starts....anyone project how he would crossover?

not well at all. He's 36 years old, coming off a major injury and has never started a game in his career.
I swear, i think they just throw darts a board sometimes and publish whatever headline they hit. This is ridiculus.
welcome home andy

Percival has suggested this, not Detroit. I can't see it happening.

As a Tiger fan, my response is "hahahahaha". I don't think anyone's even sure if he'll be healthy enough to even contribute in the bullpen, let alone try to be a crappy starter. He cannot be serious, can he?
The Tigers may not have anything close to a dominant staff lined up for 2006, but they are far from desperate enough to give Percival a spot.

It's time he retired. He's had so many problems staying healthy. To try to start would make him a joke.
You don't have to like 'em to own 'em!!!!
