Obviously in a keeper this is a no-brainer but how about for this year? Given his incredible talent, but extremely young age, would you be cool to let him anchor your staff?
As much as I love Felix, I would not be comfortable with him as my ace either. Number 2 or 3, sure, but I need a Peavy, Sheets, or Halladay to anchor my staff most definitely.

Thoughts please. Thanks
You might be able to get away with it. I think he could put up pretty good numbers. If you want to base your season on the risk he won't slump, I say go for it. If you can get him a few rounds cheaper than most aces then take a shot.
I wouldn't even want him as my ace in a keeper league; not at this moment, at least. In three years, I'd be tickled pink to have him as my ace, but now, he's gonna be my #3 starter if I have the choice.
Of course, the bigger the league, the higher his value, but in a 12 to 14-teamer, I don't want to rely on him. He's still young.
I was asked a similar question after Prior's rookie year. I was comfortble with Prior as my ace then and I am even more comfortable with The King as my ace now. Some players are just too good to even worry about. Sure with most prospects I would be uncomfortable, but Felix is an elite prospect. No worries here. The only thing that can stop Felix is injuries, but isn't every pitcher an injury risk??? I have Felix in my keeper league, keep 4 and I see zero reason to worry.
Give Snakes his due!!!! Snakes deserves the fantasy expert icon!!! Go Snakes!!!!
You need an Oswalt, Santana, Peavy, Halladay, Carpenter, Pedro, etc. to anchor your staff. Hernandez is a good #3 guy, who if he has a sophomore slump, won't kill your staff. But if he lives up to the hype, then you have a great chance to win your league.
These managers taking him in the second/third round in 12 team leagues are crazy in my opinion. I'd wait until the late 5th, early 6th if at all possible. Definitely not my number one, would be worried if he was my #2, would be comfortable with him at the #3 spot or lower.
