So does anyone know who has the inside track on the closing situations in Atlanta and Baltimore/what those teams are up to?

Check out the new closer sticky. ;-D But as far as I know the Julio deal basically makes Chris Ray the stopper in their pen. Reitsma still has the job for Atlanta with Devine and Oscar Villareal behind him.

Reitsma and Chris Ray, according to Yahoo. I dunno about either of them but I'm kind of thinking that Ray might be a decent late round pickup as he probably will be sort of under the radar.

You'll have to wait until after ST to know who the Braves closer is with any type of certainty, and even then it might not be finalized. There are at least 3 or 4 guys who have a legitimate shot at closing in Atlanta this year.

Ray in Baltimore is what I've been hearing but there have been several names being thrown out around Atlanta. Even Urbina if he gets out of jail. 8-o

Or, perhaps the Braves will take a page from the Dusty Baker playbook and do Closer by Committee?
