1%, it's very, very unlikely that Shelton will catch at all this year.

unlikely shelton will get C time. willingham will be eligible. there has been talk about bengie molina signing w/ toronto, which means phillips is probably out in the cold. wilson, lecroy, inge will not gain eligibility.

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/Yahoo is pretty current in regards to trades and players' new teams. Jacobs is currently listed as "C" only.
You'll find some errors tho. Nomar is listed as 1B/SS.
But on the other side...Inge lost his "c", MMora lost his OF status. Guess they are still updating.
just a question..MMora lost his OF status on yahoo? he didnt have it for all of 2005. I had mora on 2 yahoo teams and he was only listed at 3B

Not exactly what the thread is titled... but... Ramon Hernandez has played at least 99 games (and closer to 140) at Catcher the past 6 years and is slated (as per RotoTimes.com) to be the full time catcher for Baltimore, with Javy Lopez playing as DH... as long as they don't end up trading him or anything.
For Yahoo! and many leagues that list Javy as a "C" this is a bump up in value for him, right? Would this put him just below Victor and Mauer on the Catcher rankings?

Depends on how they handle it. I'm gonna guess they both C and both play DH and it raises both of their values.
