Minor League Keepers? (decision day today!)

Postby speedy27 » Sat Jan 21, 2006 10:39 pm

Below is a list of my minor league farm system (all keepers). I've got a few others on my major league roster right now that are still minor league eligible according to our league rules. My question is, is would you keep any of these players (Joey Devine, Adam Loewen, Edwin Jackson and Mike Pelfrey over the below mentioned.

Minor League: (15)

Dioner Navarro-C
Ryan Howard-1B
Ryan Shealy-1B
Delwyn Young-2B
Howie Kendrick-2B
Dan Uggla-2B
Eric Duncan-3B
Wilson Betemit-SS
Joey Gathright-OF
Chris B. Young-OF
Chad Billingsly-SP
Joel Zumaya-SP
Tim Stauffer-SP
Greg Miller-SP
Chris Ray-RP

Thanks ;-D

I'm not as knowledgeable as many others here, but yes, I'd probably drop Torrealba, Delwyn Young, Uggla and Betemit for those 4 pitchers.
Just another amateur learning to paint w/ "the light of the world".

Drop: Stealy, Young, & Uggla for sure and I would probably also drop Navarro and keep the 4 you listed. The 4 you listed have more potential to be fantasy worthy later on.

Yeah, he is a 26/27 1B with Helton blocking him. He will try to make it as an OF, but overall he isn't that good. Sorry I didn't specify, I meant Delwyn, he isn't very good at 2B and will likely be moved to the OF making him less valuable.
