Delmon Young

I've heard a lot of buzz about this guy and plan on picking him up this season. Can someone give me a major leaguer that Delmon resembles?

It is quite likely he won't arrive in the majors until the end of this year. He's only 20.

Not sure where you got them from, but those aren't his minor league stats last year. At AA/AAA he had a combination of 92 runs - 26 hr's - 99 rbi's - 32 sb - .315 avg.

Also, there really isn't that big of a log jam as anyone but Rocco/ Crawford are expendable and will probably make a trade or two before the all-star break (which seems like a good time for him to be called-up).

As far as major league comparisons, he has been compared to Albert Belle and sometimes to Vlad recently (though I don't think anyone is quite in vlad's league). So, yes he def has 40 HR power in the future.

Some scouts don't think that Young has the body type to remain a speedster and base stealing threat. For this reason, I don't know about the Guerrero comparisons.

It's not always about speed when it comes to stealing bases. Bagwell stole 30+ in his prime and he is below avg in speed. Pujols last season is another good example.
