I'll buy the salary dump, but how on EARTH does Jorge Julio make ANY bullpen "awsome"? In most cases, he takes them the other way.... :-?

i think he's a nice a addition, gives them another option. julio is by no means "awesome" - i was thinking that bullpen as a whole was pretty strong now...

so long as they go out and get another starter...

Wowee, you are sadly mistaken my friend, if you are a Mets fan you will understand soon enough. There will be no hesitation for him to implode, it will happen the first week in april.

How does adding a 6 ERA arm make a bullpen awesome? :-?

Just for arguements sake could Mazzone pull a "Jaret Wright" with Benson?

Benson's stuff hasn't been questioned..just injuries & his mental make up. Maybe Mazzone is the guy that can get Benson going.

I never say never but the league, division, and ballpark don't help him. :-°

Benson was a decent pitcher for the Mets and I don't doubt that Mazzone can work his magic and make him a productive pitcher for the O's. From a fantasy standpoint I agree with Lofunzo. Benson wasn't a good fantasy option last year and now he moves from Shea to Camden Yards and from the NL East to the AL East.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Anna will be in for a surprise if she hits on Slammin Sammy. She'll realize the juice took away most of whats down in his trousers.
