A few months ago, I saw a classified for cafe vets, but the catch was for guys that have posted at leat 1,000 times. I was pretty much turned away because I have less than that, but I have been a memeber in the cafe longer(Memeber # 189) than 99% of the ppl who have joined the cafe. I feel that someone is a vet in the cafe with the quality posts they have had opposed to quanity(no offense Madison..you da man ) Where is the love for guys like me? Anyways, what do you think should qualify being a vet in the league?

I agree with you completely - quality definitely over quantity. I think in that specific case he asked for people with 1000+ posts in order to make sure that they were active members who could be counted on not to flake out and would be easy to reach at the cafe. Personally I don't like the term "cafe vet" as something you aquire, I think that by doing that we are creating an elitist atmosphere. I know that there are certain peoples opinions here who I value more than others because they have given me reason to, but that in no way means that I don't pay attention to the people with 100 posts opinions.

He definitely wanted people who he believed would remain faithful to the league. People who post alot regardless of the quality are online a lot and might be easier to reach just so that problems don't occur I think.
I get ya, but I also have a thing next to my name that says I have participated in mocks before..actually, I have been in one since my first year. I was going to sit one out this year, but I forgot the one I did last year is a keeper and will take place in the cafe again. I guess old habits die hard.
