the main thing is get something that gets good gas milage AND looks pretty sporty. It doesn't matter how sporty a car is if you can't afford to keep it on the road.
You don't have to like 'em to own 'em!!!!

One more question before I make any further decisions...

How does front wheel drive compare to real wheel drive?

Pros and cons of each?

Thanks a lot

I get my license next week, but no car for me :~(

Anyways, I suggest a new or gently used Subaru Forester. Iit's decent sized, drives real well in new england weather (I live in CT) and it's a pretty "cool" car. Also, with 4WD or w/e it has, insurance for the bigger cars is lower than a sports car (BMW, etc.)

I'm a sports car kind of guy....so I'd go rear wheel drive every time.

Simply put, front wheel types will drive better in snow and other bad weather conditions than its rear wheel counterparts.

ya i had seen that before...great site!

For RWD...I live about 30 minutes NW of Boston which means we get a good deal of snow. Would RWD not be a good option for my climate?

Basically how BIG is the difference in snow handeling?
