Will any of these guys breakout this year?
Wily Mo Pena .260-80-35-100-10
Garrett Atkins .295-75-20-100-0
Prince Fielder .270-80-30-90-5
Chris Shelton .300-85-25-85-0
Am I overly optimistic

I like everyone one of those guys except Wily Mo, he's terrible!
I can't see Fielder hitting 30 hrs though......
I can't see Atkins getting 100 r or 100 rbi because that team is still pretty bad.
I do like Fielder, Atkins, Shelton though!

Atkins is a product of coors, as long as they don't trade him he'll put up decent numbers if you sit him on weeks they are on the road.
Fielder will be a 1st or 2nd round pick within 2 years, no gaurentee's he does it this year though. He did have 1500 AB's in A-AAA ball since he mostly skipped rookie ball. That usually means a player matures faster in the majors when they have that many.
Shelton is kind of a scary pick. In A ball he had a lot of power but then as he moved up he seemed to lose it. Then last year he flashed the power again. Its hard to get a read on him.
Pena is capable of 35+ HR's, he could be Dunn without the BB and not as much upside. His biggest issue is that he's weak against right handers which means I would guess his avg actually goes down if he plays full time, probably into the .240's and he wont' get a lot of R's to make up for it like Dunn does from his walks.

Fielder should be destined for a breakout. And contrary to J53J, I like Willy Mo's chances being an everyday player. He might look like an idiot swinging at pitches in the dirt, but he still could put up incredible power numbers.

Willy mo already will be starting this season but i dont like him and will only consider drafting him in LATE rounds.
Fielder is one that I am very high on and think he will break out this year somewhat like ryan howard last year.
Atkins will be a solid player next year. Even better he's playin at coors. he will be a strong backup 3b/inf/util
Shelton had a nice year last year but i think last year is kinda what u can expect from him this year. him and atkins should put up similar #'s with atkins having more HR.

Shelton can hit. And hit to all fields with power. If you can grab him do it. He will pay off.

all wrong - Willy Mo is the one guy with bargain potential. He will play almost full time with Dunn moving to first. While he may hit only 250-260 in average, he should hot 35 hr or more and have 90 plus rbi. All bests are off if he gets hurt. I see someone buying him for $1-3
