I just got one of these things. Is there anywhere on the net you can download free programs for them? Do they have to conform to the specific brand you have? I have a HP one but don't know a great deal about it. Would like to get Adobe Reader....anyone know anything about them?

Ugh, we used to use them at work and they were a nightmare.

Then we switched to BlackBerries, which are also a nightmare, but not nearly as scary.

Really pocket PC's are that bad? wow I hate blackberries

I had a Pocket PC around four years ago. I liked it, but then it got stolen at school. Make sure you handcuff it to your person. Handango was a site that I went to that usually had a lot of software. There are a lot of free programs out there, too. Just do some searching and find them you will.
