When was fraud not a crime, she is tryen to extort money from a business. If a drug dealer was tryen to extort money from a company for millions, would you still think he got too much time???

This isn't about putting a finger in a bowl of chili. Its about extortion for seven figures. It's about causing a business and thousands of shareholders around the world losing money due to them in the normal course of business. Its about many many people who need their job at Wendy's getting laid off for lack of sales due to these POSs. and then there's the other charges too.

Yes. Due to the money Wendy's lost, people got laid off. If you were one of the ones who got fired, wouldn't you want the book thrown at the people responsible? Or if you were a shareholder who lost a ton of money? I'd say the sentence they got was reasonable. Not too tough, but not off scot free either. Just about right.

Maybe this will deter a few others from filing these types of stupid lawsuits. This situation does not surprise me at all with some of the settlements people are getting for either having done something stupid and blaming someone else or fabricating a situation completely to get easy money.
