PLEASE GOD,MAKE IT STOP!!!

Postby JamesBond007 » Mon Jun 23, 2003 10:06 pm

I am fortunate enough to be in a very deep 16-team league with 30 players per team, so the waiver wire is mighty thin. I am also fortunate enough to own the trio of Konerko/Alomar/Dye. WILL THE SUCKINESS EVER END??? Those 3 suck beyond belief but IMO are too good to just release in a league this size. Any expressions of sympathy will be appreciated.....

That is the beauty of a deep league, makes a Koplove for A. Fox trade turns heads, I love it. i bet somewhere in that league there is an owner who is saying the same thing about a player you might think highly of.. shoot from that anlge .. all suckiness aside.

I think Konerko is beyond hope and should be dumped.

Roberto Alomar (who is, I assume, the Alomar you are referring to) is certain to be traded by the Mets before the trading deadline. If he goes to an AL team, you may see him get back on track, since he has always said that he's more comfortable there than facing NL pitchers.

Dye hasn't been the same since he was injured last year - he's also on the WW in my league, which is where I think he belongs.
"One of the teams represents truth, justice, the American way, and underdogs everywhere. The other represents George Steinbrenner!" - U.S. News and World Reports columnist John Leo on the difference between the Mets and the Yankees.
