A.Gordon or S.Drew???WHIR

I am trying to choose between these guys in our draft. I would like whoever has the bigger bat. Can you help?

Gordon has the bigger bat but may be pushed to the OF if Teahan hits well in 05'. Either way, Gordon plays at a hitting position (3B or OF if he gets moved) this decreases his value a bit compared to Drew who hits very well and plays SS. ITs pretty much a crap shoot, both should end up great thoguh I see Gordon having more success if youre talking about who will be better in the short run.

I would take Drew. There is virtually nothing standing in his way in AZ.

Stephen Drew is on the fast track to the majors. He has a shot of being an everyday MLB player by the end of the season if he plays well enough.

I would take Drew he may be up this year with the big club, if not he will be there in 07.

I'd take Gordon, hands down.
The Royals need someone (him) to be the face of the franchise. He'll be up at at the All-Star break. Ryan Zimmerman shows us that college 3rd baseman can be rushed and play immediately in the show.

Gordon has great makeup. He takes a long break and doesn't play any professional ball, and winds up posting a .400+ obp in the AZ fall league. His bat speed is off the charts and he's got good plate discipline.
I think we're looking at the next David Wright, but lefty with more power. Like Wright, once Gordon's up, he'll produce.

Don't know much about Stephen Drew. His bloodlines work against him in my opinion. There's a premium I guess on shortstops and 5 tools, so that makes S.Drew valuable. But if I can choose between a shortsop version of JD Drew and David Wright, I'd take Wright. So with that, I'd take Gordon.

I drafted Gordon, thanks everyone for the input. I drafted him just because I have Reyes and Jeter already at SS. It was close though based on value.
