i didn't even know Boras was his agent. Might this be the first in a string of athlete decision-making that we can dub "the Rosenhaus Effect"?

AJ Burnett = 5 years/$55M
Kevin Millwood = 5 years/$60M
Jarrod Washburn = 4 years/$37.5M
Esteban Loaiza = 3 years/$21M
Kenny Rogers = 2 years/$16M
Carlos Zambrano = 1 year/$7.2M

One of those is an outright steal, I'll let you guess which one.

I wouldn't be the least bit opposed to something in the neighborhood of 4/$40M for Carlos. The man deserves to get paid, and given the current market, that's probably a steal too.

Millwood and AJ

Postby hoopitup21212 » Mon Feb 06, 2006 7:48 pm

AJ Burnett = 5 years/$55M
Kevin Millwood = 5 years/$60M

These two really need to step it up and prove why they are getting paid this kind of money. AJ is lucky the Jays are giving him that kind of money I don’t recall AJ proving anything big quite yet.
