It's what Clemens gets for going on Letterman and talking down the Devil Rays and making jokes about getting traded to him. He gets everything he deserves!

Quick...tell Rolls it was Letterman's writers that wrote the jokes, not Clemens.... Too late, he doubled his third time up! 10 TB for the game! (Rolls had 15 TB going into the game, in 63 ABs.) :-C

Doesn't matter who wrote it. Clemens didn't have to say it. As usual, he made himself look like an arrogant jackoff and it probably only fired up the Rays to take him off his pedestal.

To say Roger underestimates or doesn't respect the Devil Rays is stupid. In fact, in 2001, he lost 2 of his 3 against Tampa Bay. They play very scrappy ball against him anytime they play.
